A quotation needs three things: the part or the drawing, the quantity, and the speed it runs at. The rest can wait until we know which series it is.
The request slip
Seven lines, three of them essential
Fields marked as required are the ones a first figure cannot be built without. The others decide the details: the shipping terms, the cage, the packing.

The answer, and what to put in the request
- Two working daysA written answer within two working days, quoting the runout figure actually measured for that lot.
- The figure, not the classRunout is measured on the lot we would ship, and the record travels with that lot.
- Three things to sendPart or drawing, the quantity, and the speed it runs at.
The questions that are not technical
Order, packing, payment
Samples: no minimum, one piece. Production: the run size is set by the tooling the part needs.
2–3 days ex-stock; 6–10 days to run a catalogue part; 7–45 days where the part needs tooling first.
30% with the order, 70% before shipment or against the B/L copy. An L/C at sight is also accepted.
Bag, box, carton, plywood pallet. Wood pallets are IPPC-marked; REACH covers the protective oil.
Duty is set by the importing country and by the tariff classification, which follows the bearing type rather than the precision class. A certificate of origin is issued with every shipment.
3–5 days, and it is measured the same way a production lot is.
